SPANISH LOVE SONGS RELEASE FINAL SINGLE ‘MARVEL’ FROM NEW ALBUM ‘NO JOY’

One of modern emo’s finest bands SPANISH LOVE SONGS have released “Marvel”, the final single to be released off the upcoming album ‘No Joy’ which is out August 25 via Pure Noise Records. The song utilises ambient soundscapes to back drop the driving acoustic and crunched up guitar lines as the drums keep the momentum while they take you through a sonic journey that mixes the band’s classic melancholic vocal styles with a more upbeat tempo while dealing with the trials and tribulations of life in a positive light.

“Marvel’ is the backbone of the album thematically,” says vocalist and guitarist Dylan Slocum. “It was written for a friend, and the chorus was a throwaway joke that has just sort of stuck. It’s probably the most positive song I’ve ever written, and a response to every complaint I’ve ever lodged in other songs.

Find the things you need to stay afloat.

Piss off the cosmic forces that would see you perish.

Find what you need.

 Stay alive.”
