Fast-rising hardcore outfit Southpaw FLHC have officially joined the global Spinefarm roster, marking a huge step in the band’s relentless rise through the underground.

To celebrate the signing, the Jacksonville crew have dropped the video for their brand-new single “Torches” and it’s a statement of intent. Built on punishing riffs, raw aggression, and Southpaw’s trademark blend of hardcore, punk, metal, and hip hop energy. The track represents a mentality: carrying the torch, setting the standard, and honouring the legacy of those who came before.

Frontman Daryn LaMontagne explains: “To be the example, you must live the example and hold the line. ‘Torches’ reminds us: Legacies aren’t inherited; they are forged.”

Since dropping their self-titled debut EP in 2020, Southpaw FLHC have worked tirelessly, releasing seven singles and music videos, and bringing chaos to stages across the U.S. Their DIY ethic has taken them on the road with With Blood Comes Cleansing, Tracheotomy, Bodysnatcher, Surfaced, and Hoods, while also proving they can pull big crowds on their own terms including headlining the first-ever show at Jacksonville’s brand-new HARDLOVE venue earlier this year.

With their first full-length album locked in for 2026, Southpaw promise their heaviest, most ambitious material to date.
