SOUTH ARCADE RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘STONE COLD SUMMER’

South Arcade are destined for big things, they may only be a few years into their careers but they have already amassed a dedicated following, sold out a headline tour and racked up some impressive numbers across streaming services and social media, and now they are back with a brand new single ‘stone cold summer’. The song is a super catchy party anthem that in contrast to the title is the perfect soundtrack to the summer sun. Vocalist Harmony Cavelle delivers and array of sweet melodies full of optimistic messages while fun crunched up guitar riffs dance throughout the mix in a feel good anthem to add to their ever growing collection of fan favourites.

Speaking on the track, the band say: “Harry showed us a demo with this crazy riff and we thought it was amazing! We’d been struggling with social media for a while but we always write music and put all our energy into the band because it’s what we love. As we were writing ‘stone cold summer’ about keeping optimistic with the band, our videos blew up on TikTok and it felt like an omen. We hope the song helps other people to keep the faith in doing what they love.”

South Arcade will be playing live on their sold out ‘I Was Here First’ tour this September/October and Reading & Leeds Festival in August on the BBC Introducing stage.

The sold-out tour was announced last month following the band’s previous single DANGER hitting 1 million streams after the track began blowing up across social media and a huge surge in fans. The track now has over 2 million streams on Spotify alone, doubling in just a couple of weeks.
