South Arcade drop brand new single ‘How 2 Get Away With Murder’

South Arcade are quickly building themselves an empire and with the excitement growing for what’s set to be big second part of the year, the Oxford band have released their latest single ‘How 2 Get Away With Murder’ following up their last high hitting single ‘Stone Cold Summer’. Mixed by guitarist Harry Winks, the single takes the band up another few levels showing some serious intent. The song gives off perfect summer vibes – Cody’s drums instantly come in strong giving a huge lift to the track from the get go. The riffs carry the energy throughout whilst delivering that sound everyone’s come to love from South Arcade. The vocals from Harmony are clean and on point, her levels just seem to rise with every single the band drop and showing why she has one of the strongest voices breaking through right now. The build up to the breakdown certainly comes in hard and heavy however very unexpected being something we don’t tend to see from South Arcade but it’s a vibe that I’m sure many will get behind.

Harmony states “HOW 2 GET AWAY WITH MURDER quickly came to life after I binge-watched the 2000’s series Dexter – a show surrounding a vigilante serial killer who punishes those who he believes deserve it. The song drew inspiration from the extreme gruesome nature of the show. We had a lot of fun writing the song and hope listeners have fun listening when they hear it too”!

Listen now:

The band are gearing up to a big summer close as they take to the stage for the first time at this years Reading & Leeds festival to headline the BBC Introducing Stage before hitting the road this autumn for their sold out ‘I Was Here First’ tour followed by supporting NOAHFINNCE across the U.K.

Speaking on the tour and the quick jump in popularity in Danger, the band say “It was crazy how quickly DANGER has reached so many new people. We didn’t have any headline shows planned for the rest of the year but we knew we had to meet these new fans and what better way than playing some gigs? We can’t wait to welcome the newcomers to the South Arcade world – see you in the Autumn!”
