SLOW CRUSH share doom meets shoegaze single  “CHERRY”

Forming in 2017 in Belgium this band have worked hard, releasing their debut EP in May of the same year and debut album just under a year later. Lead by vocalist / bassist Isa Holiday, the band have recently signed with Pure Noise Records (the home of Knocked Loose, Four Year Strong and so many more) with this stage-setting single “Cherry” as their first release.

For those well accustomed to the 90’s slurry of shoegaze guitars, this will be a fresh take on a well-love genre style. For those sampling it for the first time through new talent like Oversize or the resurfacing of legends such as Deftones, it’s a strong piece to get lost in just for a few minutes. Speaking about the new single the band said, “Wistful longing for something fresh and new, creating a stormy and effervescent anthology. Evoking an almost thematic cascade of noise that echoes the end and bursts into new life. ‘Cherry’ feels like the perfect first single. A new, fresh start. ‘Shed your skin’”
