SILVERSTEIN RELEASE NEW SINGLE “LIVE LIKE THIS” FEATURING NOTHING NOWHERE

Emo stalwarts SilversteinĀ have just dropped a new single with new emo/hip hop star Nothing, Nowhere. “Live Like This” is another release off Silverstein’s highly anticipated new album Misery Made MeĀ which is out this Friday 6th May! The song is musically upbeat yet laced with somber but hopeful vocal melodies and screams tackling heavy subject matter intertwined with a big anthemic chanted chorus that is sure to be a hit live. Nothing, Nowhere departs from rapping to deliver an anguish filled feature, his voice working perfectly on the track with all the emo influence in his own music.

Speaking on the singleĀ guitaristĀ Paul Marc reveals:

ā€œThere came a point when I was somewhere between pessimistic and numb. Something needed to change but I didn’t know where to turn.ā€ Ā ā€œLive Like This”Ā written and recorded in lockdown, became an outlet for that frustration and desperation.Ā ā€œIt felt like the only way to work through the sh*t was to hit rock bottom and dig a little deeper to find some hope.”

Vocalist Shane ToldĀ says:

ā€œā€˜I don’t wanna die, but I can’t live like this’ – the lyric says it all,ā€ Ā ā€œLiving through an unimaginable time we all faced some of the darkest feelings of our lives. The uncertainty, the anxiety, it was crippling. Bringing in another voice was important for this song to show its universal meaning. Joe (nothing, nowhere.) is from a different country, a different upbringing, a different age group, but his voice resonates just as loud as mineā€.Ā

Nothing, Nowhere adds:

“Silverstein has always been one of my favourite bands. shane’s vocals inspired me when I first started singing as a kid, so IĀ knew IĀ had to get on this track,ā€
