OVERSIZE announce debut album and share title track single “VITAL SIGNS”

A big moment for this band from the South-West of England with both a debut album announcement and a powerful single release. Not only a really important piece of music in today’s scene, but one that’ll have you talking for ages; if not about the brilliance of it, but trying to call out all the fusions of styles within it. Is it alt-metal, shoegaze or grunge? Alt-rock, nu-metal fuzz or post-hardcore? The great thing is it’s got so much to offer that you’ll want to listen multiple times to enjoy all the little flickers of riffs and melodies that lace this piece.
The band share: “While ‘Vital Signs’ is technically the title track of the album, it was originally written as an album closer and from start to finish was written comfortably in under an hour. I think the simplicity of the song and the free-flowing structure combined with extra production elements – drum loops and super saturated and effect heavy guitars – give this song a unique feel within our catalogue of songs. Lyrically much like the rest of the album, the song revolves around a journey of grief and the acceptance of loss. We felt the lyric ‘Vital Signs’ was the perfect summary for the album as a whole.”
