PINKNOISE bring their true self to light in “LANDMINE”

Just when you think hard rock has seen it all, a true artist brings a whole new realm of the genre to light. This is the case with Kacey Foxx aka PINKNOISE, who cut their teeth in previous bands, touring and playing festivals. Learning a lot from their experiences, undeterred by the wild west that is the music industry, Kacey brought PINKNOISE to life. Representing the most authentic version of themselves as an artist in notions and lyrics, whilst writing some anthemic pop melodies and honestly savage djent /metalcore breakdowns you didn’t see coming in a song.
As part of showing a raw, unedited version of themselves, Kacey describes the notions behind the song: “I wrote this ‘LANDMINE’ after feeling very misunderstood as a non-binary person, and just wanted to get the point across that I am not very much different from anyone else, I just want to love and be loved, and not be hated because of it”. Not only adored by the LGBTQI+ community, this project is connecting across communities and continents with just a few songs released.
Ahead of their debut EP release on the 15th August titled ‘HUMAN=KIND‘, this is an artist you must keep your eye on as we dive into a really exciting era for heavy music that’s setting the tone for future scenes:
