Outbreak Fest announces The Front Bottoms, Snail Mail, Nothing, Balance & Composure & more for Manchester edition

Outbreak Fest have revealed the Friday line-up and full day splits for their 15th anniversary Manchester edition. Now firmly cemented as the UK’s most vital counterculture gathering, Outbreak Fest has spent the last 15 years blurring the lines between hardcore, emo, punk, shoegaze and alternative music. Following a record-breaking 2025 edition, the festival returns in June 2026 with another three days of sweat, chaos and community.

Outbreak Fest will kick things off with a very special Friday night event, spotlighting some of modern emo’s most beloved acts.

The Front Bottoms will headline the evening, performing their 2015 breakthrough album Talon Of The Hawk in full to celebrate its 10th anniversary. It’s a rare, career-spanning set from the New Jersey duo and one that’s guaranteed to hit fans right in the feelings.

Also returning to Outbreak are Balance & Composure, following a standout appearance in 2024. This time, they’ll be performing select tracks from Separation and The Things We Think We’re Missing, while Tigers Jaw join the bill ahead of the release of their upcoming seventh album Lost On You.

Rounding out the Friday line-up are Free Throw, making their Outbreak debut, and Pool Kids, who continue their upward trajectory off the back of their acclaimed album Easier Said Than Done.

Friday tickets are sold separately from weekend tickets and are available now.

Saturday sees the festival lean fully into its genre-crossing roots. Alexisonfire will perform their landmark album Crisis in full, while Quicksand make their long-awaited Outbreak debut, bringing over 35 years of post-hardcore legacy to the stage.

The day also features Converge, PUP, High Vis, Touché Amoré (performing Stage Four in full), The Armed, Scowl, Higher Power, and a huge undercard including Greet Death, Love Is Noise, Blanket, Death Lens and more.

Sunday is headlined by Basement, with the line-up bolstered by the addition of Snail Mail, performing following the release of her third studio album Ricochet (out March 2026).

Also returning to Outbreak are shoegaze favourites Nothing, who’ll be previewing material from their forthcoming album A Short History Of Decay, alongside a stacked bill featuring Hatebreed (performing Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire and Perseverance in full), Suicidal Tendencies, Trapped Under Ice, Trash Talk, La Dispute, Fiddlehead and many more.
