The beautiful thing about Origami Angel tracks is that you are hit with both the adrenaline boost of hearing a great new song with the nostalgic nods to some of our favourite songs across the heavy / alternative music spectrum. With punk/emo at it’s core, you are guaranteed choruses that will embed in your brain for weeks to come alongside intricacies that will get the more dexterous of us picking up our plecs and sticks to try it out on our respective instruments. Taken from their forthcoming album ‘ Feeling Not Found’ (coming September 27th on Counter Intuitive), the theme is around emotional and feeling absence and confusion. An ode to a desperate struggle to reconnect to how it feels to be human and whole perhaps. Stitched together by the Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight, The Wonder Years) the current reviews have been of such high regard, it’s impressive to read.
