OF MICE & MEN share new single ‘Indigo’
Almost two years since Echo graced our ears, it’s a pleasure to have Of Mice & Men back with their third single and my personal favourite so far, Indigo from upcoming 8th record, Tether. Set to be unleashed upon the world on October 8th. A follow up to first two singles Warpaint and Castaway, new single Indigo carries on with the slapping riffs from the first two drops with coupling big hooks and monster grooves. From what’s been teased so far this record is set to hit hard. Vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley says this single “is about questioning why the sky would choose to be blue if it had the choice to be anything else — blue also meaning sad.. It’s about comforting a loved one in a time of loss by telling them you feel blue, too.”.
Taking matters into their own hands with this record, Pauley says they focused more on how the album felt rather than how it sounded and feel they walked away from the recording feeling like they achieved what they set out to do.
