NORMANDIE release new single ‘Hourglass’ featuring Dani Winter-Bates of Bury Tomorrow

The idea of Normandie and Bury Tomorrow collaborating for a song would be a dream for many including myself – now that dream has become a reality – and that dream slaps hard! With their new record ‘Dopamine’ due in February next year, Normandie are sticking to their promise of a single on the 1st of every month with Hourglass being the third drop for the Swedish trio following releases of Blood in the Water & Flowers For the Grave in August & September.
Frontman Philip Strand describes ‘Hourglass’ as being about “death, and how if we come to terms with it and accept it, we can find new life in the pain. Everything that ever was has always ended, all flowers fade.”
Released along side a fitting lyric video, it gives fans that instant chance to learn the words down to a tee from the get go. Despite this track being a steadily paced alt pop-rock vibe, the addition of Bury Tomorrow frontman Dani Winter-Bates adds intensity to the whole feel of the song.
