Metallic Hardcore has never sounded better: NEGATIVE FRAME share brilliantly powerful track “NEW LOWS”

There’s a lot of hardcore inspired artists around at the moment, but there’s still a tier that sit aloft these, driving the genre forward and being incredibly original whilst nodding to the origins of their scene. London’s Negative Frame have this energy. With their latest single “New Lows” we hear the classic hardcore and metal-tinged sides, but also classic metal melodies and metalcore-esque breakdown territory that make this a heavy music feast.
Vocalist Kesari Gorin commented on ‘New Lows’: “Life is a roll of the dice, it’s suffocating and can close in on you. The hole can always get deeper, there is always a new low to sink to.” I love this introduction to what is set to be their debut album later this year. And a massive endorsement to already have a headline show under their belt at the famous New Cross Inn in London (a rite of passage for this scene).
