MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE RELEASE NEW 6 MINUTE EPIC SONG “THE FOUNDATIONS OF DECAY”

12/05/22 or as it now shall be known: the day of the emo, when My Chemical Romance returned with new music for the first time in 12 long years!

Not only did they return but they have given their long awaiting fans an epic 6 minute song to sink their teeth into! “The Foundations Of Decay” is a whole ass journey, kicking off with a synth led soundscape, piano and Spanish style guitars, it’s hard to tell where the song is headed. Gerard Way’s iconic voice then joins the fray for a lo fi building verse and then BAM the enormous chorus hits with those tones only MCR are capable of, like an old friend you haven’t seen in years saying hello. The song even throws a curveball with a heavy screamed breakdown section, reminiscent of MCR of old.

Whether this song will be part of a new release is yet to be seen but what is sure is that MCR are back and they mean business!
