Exuding confidence and delivering fresh riffs: Mouth Culture have arrived.

Mouth Culture have been students at the School of Rock since they were teenagers, with bands such as You Me At Six and My Chemical Romance fueling their dreams and steering their musical ambitions for years. The Leicester-based trio shared such a synergy with their tastes and drive that they moved in together, thus paving the way for a hive of creativity and creation. Their first single was released in the ‘before times’ (covid-who?) of 2019, but despite the horrendous challenges musicians faced during the lockdown years, they’ve returned more determined and fresh sounding than ever.
Released as part of their 7-track EP ‘Mishaps Of My Mid Twenties’ (also out now), we recommend you give “Sharkbait” a spin and get your ears around the world of Mouth Culture. FFO indie anthems to grungier powered tunes, Jack Voss (vocals) has the perfect pitch-perfect tone with a raspy edge to deliver this blend. But don’t less this steer your expectations of the full EP; there’s breadth and depth from pop punk, alt rock and more bundled into one aural journey.
Mouth Culture have already shared stages with the likes of Beauty School Dropout and Declan Welsh and the Decadent West and they recently hit the road with Acres. The band are also set to support While She Sleeps in Sheffield next month.
