MOTHER VULTURE remind us all just how good pure rock’n’roll can be in new single “Slow Down”

This proudly DIY band from the West of England bring a larger than life energy to their music, with thespian level flair and vitality into all elements of the performance. Bold, and bright fusions of desert rock, classic leaning riffs and even dabbling in the heavy side for metalcore leaning breakdowns, MOTHER VULTURE will be one to check out for fans of Royal Blood through to Queens Of The Stone Age, as well as people who enjoy AWOLNATION or Imagine Dragons (but wouldn’t mind a savage outburst of heavy music in there). Their new single “SLOW DOWN” hones in an aural experience of anxiety and an explosion of emotions that come from all sides (good and bad) in your inner mind.
Vocalist Georgi Valentine Ivanov shares “I wanted to use the lyrics to shine a light on the darker side of emotion, the way we sometimes want to flirt with self destruction and that temptation to fall from grace. Because the world gets too much sometimes, and you think something has to break. It’s darker than some of the other stuff we’ve written but it was fun to explore a new sound and get even heavier, both musically and lyrically.”
Dark, moody, mysterious and marvellous visuals marry up perfectly with the sassy riffs in “Slow Down”:
