Metallica Announce New Album, World Tour And Release New Song & Video!
Today a collective James Hetfield “YEAAAH” was heard around the world as metal titans Metallica came out of the social media shadows and announced a bunch of huge news. In a simple post across their socials Metallica sent the metal community into a frenzy with the announcement of a new album, world tour and the release of a brand new song entitled “Lux Æterna”. The song is their first output since 2016’s “Hardwired…” and is a head nod to Metallica of old with some prominent thrash elements particularly in the drums and guitars, giving us some Seek & Destroy vibes before James Hetfield comes in with his iconic melodic vocals. The song certainly scratches an itch only Metallica can touch and is sure to make plenty of fans excited for their return! “Lux Æterna” will be featured on the new album entitled “72 Seasons” and will be available on April 14th, 2023.
