Mayday Parade Share New Single “One Day At A Time”

Mayday Parade are continuing their 20th anniversary celebrations with the release of “One Day At A Time,” a reflective and emotionally charged track from their upcoming three-part album project, SAD, arriving 3rd October 2025.
The song captures the bittersweet journey of growing older, embracing life’s highs and lows while acknowledging that change is inevitable. Guitarist Brooks Betts explains, “A song about growing through life and getting better as you go. Correcting past mistakes and understanding that life changes and evolves. It’s self-reflection and knowing that no one is perfect.”
Following the single “Under My Sweater,” an old-school emo anthem brimming with early 2000s pop punk energy, “One Day At A Time” dives deeper into introspection. The track continues the band’s collaboration with longtime producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, blending stripped back instrumentation with beautiful melodies and the emotional honesty fans have come to expect from Mayday Parade.
