LØLØ releases new single ‘kill the girl’

Three things are certain in life and LØLØ dropping a banger is always one. The Canadian is back with a brand new single ‘kill the girl’ taken from her upcoming debut album ‘falling for robots and wishing I was one’ that’s due for release on June 7th on Hopeless Records. The upbeat intro starts off a strong release gives that new sound she’s brought in to this record – each single has been different in various ways and this ticks another category box in LØLØ’s new chapter. Behind the catchy, happy sound to the song, it’s quick to catch on to the frustration behind the lyrics as she battles with her own self loathing over missing her toxic ex. The mix of deep feelings behind the lyrics and the quick punchy beat gives it an even balance throughout. It’s a song that shows her studying her own emotions as she hits a stumbling block between herself and freedom.

Speaking on the single LØLØ says: “I wrote ‘kill the girl’ about the girl inside of me who could just NOT get over someone, for the life of me. For some reason, we tend to always remember the good parts but not the millions of BAD parts. That was the case with me for a long time with a certain someone. I didn’t know why I was so hung up on them, and I wished I could just knock some sense into that part of me, or, simply kill her. Kill the girl was the last song I wrote about this person, so in a way, I really did kill the girl. Rest in peace u pathetic loser <3”
