LØLØ announces debut album ‘falling for robots and wishing i was one’

Canadian pop-punk rising star and one of our ones to watch LØLØ has announced the release date of her debut album “falling for robots and wishing i was one”, which is set for release on the 7th June via Hopeless Records. Along with the announcement she has also shared her new single “u & the tin man” from the record. The song delivers all the honesty and catchy sing-a-long hooks that fans have come to love as her voice takes centre stage, sitting right up front in the mix amplifying her vulnerability as she lyrically tackles a past relationship gone bad using the Wizard Of Oz’s tin man as a metaphor both thematically and visually in the accompanying music video.
Speaking on the track, she says, “when I moved to LA, I realised I was definitely not in Kansas anymore. I eventually met someone who hit me like a tornado, and left just as viciously. The Wizard of Oz has always been my favourite movie growing up, so I thought it would be fun to compare my situation to someone who really didn’t have a heart, like the tin man. Except, at least the tin man was trying! This is one of the first songs in a while that I wrote completely by myself, so it feels very special. This is also the first song I ever wrote for my debut album and I’m VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT!!”
