LISTEN TO HOLDING ABSENCE & ALPHA WOLF TEAM UP ON NEW SONG “ACHING LONGING”

Wales’ hottest new rock exports Holding Absence have announced a surprise collab EP with Aussie metalcore crew Alpha Wolf entitled “The Lost & The Longing” out August 15th via Sharptone Records & Greyscale Records. This isn’t the first time HA have teamed up with another artist for a record, having released the split EP ‘This Is As One’ with the mighty Loathe back in 2018.

You can hear the first single off “The Lost & The Longing” right now entitled “Aching Longing”! The song is very much a Holding Absence heavy song featuring their distinctive ambient blissful instrumentals with Lucas Woodland’s soaring emotionally charged delivery, with a big singalong chorus that could give anything off their critically acclaimed album “The Greatest Mistake of My Life” a run for it’s money with Alpha Wolf’s contribution mainly coming in the form of vocalist Lochie Keogh’s screamed feature. The song is billed as a Holding Absence featuring Alpha Wolf effort so you can expect them to return the favour during the EP with some heavier AW lead songs. A surprise collab for sure, but one we can’t wait to hear more of!
