LISTEN: ILLENIUM TEAMS UP WITH SPIRITBOX FOR NEW SONG “SHIVERING”

It’s no secret American DJ/producer Illenium is a big fan of alternative music, having previously teamed up with I Prevail, Angels & Airways and Travis Barker as well as doing an epic remix of Nirvana. His latest big genre crossover is with metalcore’s hottest new act Spiritbox and the result is glorious! The song at first could be a straight up Spiritbox song with the full band taking the spotlight and Courtney’s vocals soaring across a massive chorus. The following is a beautifully crafted build up with Illenium bringing in the electronics and vocal effects culminating in a massive EDM drop lead by Courtney screaming the line “Can You Feel Me Shivering!”. It is a perfect mashup between these two artists that obviously appreciate each other’s work. Illenium even saying in a post on twitter that he is a “massive Spirtibox fan and and this kind of crossover has been super inspiring and rejuvenating”.
