Linkin Park is back with a poignant new single, ‘Over Each Other,’ their first release featuring the solo vocals of new singer Emily Armstrong. This emotionally charged track arrives ahead of the band’s much-anticipated upcoming album From Zero, set to drop on November 15 via Warner Records.
“Over Each Other” takes a bold departure from Linkin Park’s traditional sound, with icy keys, glitchy beats, and Armstrong’s soulful vocal performance, highlighted in the refrain, “All we are is talking over each other.” The accompanying music video, directed by Joe Hahn, was shot in Seoul, South Korea, and visually mirrors the song’s emotional turbulence by following a relationship on the brink of collapse. Hahn’s inspiration from K-drama adds a dramatic flair to the cinematic narrative.
Armstrong expressed her excitement about her solo debut within the band. “This song is an extra special one for me because it’s my first solo vocal in Linkin Park… I can’t believe I’m saying that! But it’s also such an emotional and relatable song. And then to shoot the video in Korea with Joe, who is so brilliant at what he does, is something I will cherish forever,” she shared.
For Hahn, directing in Korea was a dream come true. “Emily and I stayed a few extra days after our Seoul show and embraced the K-ness of it all. We hope you all love it as much as we do!” he added.

This single follows the success of their recent release, “The Emptiness Machine,” which stormed the charts, securing the #1 spot on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay and Alternative Airplay charts. With over a quarter-billion streams, it’s shaping up to be the biggest rock song of 2024. Their latest drop, “Heavy Is The Crown,” has also exploded in popularity, with 270 million streams and 55 million YouTube views to date.
In addition to their new music, Linkin Park will headline major festivals in 2025, including Las Vegas’ Sick New World on April 12 alongside Metallica and Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio, in May. The band is currently on their From Zero World Tour, with upcoming dates in Paris, Dallas, Bogota, and São Paulo. See dates below.
