Linkin Park Drop Another Unreleased Song “Fighting Myself” From The Meteora Archives
Ahead of the 20th Anniversary release of Linkin Park’s seminal 2003 record Meteora, the band have given us another previously unheard and unreleased song entitled “Fighting Myself” taken from their writing sessions for the album. The song is another sonic nostalgia trip that lies somewhere between Hybrid Theory and the more emotional hits off Meteora with rapped verses from Mike Shinoda before Chester Bennington’s iconic voice blasts out during the choruses. It goes to show the depth of the bands writing ability that “Fighting Myself” and previous ‘unreleased’ single “Lost” never even made it to public ears for 20 years. It’s another welcome gift from the band who will be releasing the anniversary box set including unreleased songs, demos, b-sides, live shows and never before seen behind the scenes footage on the 7th April.
