Kublai Khan TX release their new album ‘Exhibition Of Prowess’

Get those horns raised, those wall of deaths opened and those 2 steps going as Texan titans Kublai Khan TX have released their new album ‘Exhibition Of Prowess’ (via Rise Records). The album, which clocks in at 23 and half minutes is a to the point riff fest full of songs designed for the live arena with plenty of pit starters and one liners that you can already hear the crowds chanting back. It’s everything you want from a Kublai Khan TX record and one that will appease their ever growing and dedicated fanbase they have cultivated since 2019’s ‘Absolute’. There’s also a couple of excellently placed features with Throwdown’s Dave Peters on ‘Cannibal’ and Hatbreed’s Jamey Jasta on ‘A Hopeless Fate’.
In celebration of the release, they have released the official visualizer for their track Mud“. Speaking about the track, vocalist Matt Hunnycutt commented: “Mud is the scissors slowly closing in on the final thread keeping sanity intact. Entrenched and trapped with nowhere to go but deeper underground. Reflections and thoughts mirroring a man’s will to survive in a world obsessed with extinction. Low tech, primordial soundwaves. Sludge covered, sun blistered frequencies of war and peace. Mud is mankind.”
