KNOSIS Announce Debut Album “GENKNOSIS” & Drop New Single ‘SHINMON’

Japanese metal rising star KNOSIS — the brainchild of former Crystal Lake frontman Ryo Kinoshita — has officially announced their debut full-length album GENKNOSIS, set for release on August 1, 2025 via SharpTone Records.

To mark the occasion, KNOSIS have dropped a brand-new single, “SHINMON”, and it rips. Packed with metalcore dissonance, crushing riffs and shifting dynamics, the song delivers a powerful ride of emotion with Ryo’s signature vocal ferocity. The song rapidly shifts through the gears with influences from all over the metal spectrum, from blackened death metal to melodic hardcore, and culminating in a huge breakdown, it’s a track that keeps you on your toes throughout.
