Knocked Loose may be one of the most talked about bands in heavy music right now and it’s for good reason, they have truly mastered the art of delivering unapologetic brutal music that is captivating an increasingly growing audience. Last month they completed a sold out UK and European tour playing some of their biggest ever headline shows as well as announcing details of their new album ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To’ and now they have given us another taste of it with crushing new single and the accompanying music video for ‘Don’t Reach For Me.’ From the outset the song delivers on the heaviness with their signature guitar tones and metallic drum sound cutting through the mix as they go through the paces from fast circle pit inducing beats to head banging grooves. The track also has and an underlying haunting melody that flows throughout creating an unnerving sense of doom, which helps amplify the lyrical theme frontman Bryan Garris delivers with his iconic screams, Garris explains: “[the track] may be the meanest song I’ve ever written,” a seismic takedown of “someone who tried their hardest to come into my life and mess with two out of the three closest people I have.”
