Heavy Music Award nominee Kid Bookie has announced his new album

UK rising star Kid Bookie has announced his next full length album will be landing on September 13th, titled ‘ SONGS FOR THE LIVING // SONGS FOR THE DEAD’. To celebrate the news has released the first single from that record, “Scars”.

The song combines his lyrical genius with his rock sensibility. The singer has detailed personal trauma and emotional uncertainty within this track however brings out his typical heavy infused hip-hop throughout. It gives a strong insight of what could be on the horizon with the new album. 

Bookie said of the single, “It’s about not being able to leave when you know you should. You’re in a mental torture prison, and you haven’t got the strength to leave. You know you should leave, but you’re scared, you’re hurt, and this is what the scars can make you do – people put you in mental prisons, and sometimes the only thing you have left to remember is the scars they leave.”

Kid Bookie has also been shortlisted for The Heavy Music Awards’ Best Breakthrough Live Artist in 2024. Be sure to catch him supporting I PREVAIL across the EU this summer and an appearance at this year’s 2000trees Festival. A full list of dates can be found below.
