Alt pop sensation K.Flay has joined forces with Pierce the Veil’s Vic Fuentes for new single and video with a title that I am all too familiar with – it’s the old ‘Irish Goodbye’. The single is the the latest to be released from K.Flay’s forthcoming new studio album MONO which is due out September 15th via Giant Music. The song is a lyrically venomous track with guitars stabbing through the verses before huge synth lines and raw distorted drums will get your heads banging when the chorus hits. K.Flay and Vic Fuentes go back and forth with infectious melodies and emotionally fuelled performances that really drive home the messages of the song.

Speaking on the themes of the song K.Flay says: ‘Irish Goodbye’ is the album’s heaviest and hardest-hitting track, an intimately detailed portrait of choosing self-preservation over succumbing to possibly toxic desire. “I was screaming in the demo to that song and eventually I realized, ‘I have a friend who screams professionally, so maybe I should get him on this,’”
