Rising star NATIVE JAMES releases punchy new single “HAMMER”

Aaron James, aka Native James loves rap, grime, rock, metal and more. And in his new era we see him bring his initial creations, rooted in freestyle rap into a much heavier world. With full band and beautifully crafted music video to match, “Hammer” is a bullseye collision of UK rap and rock. The confidence is evident and the delivery is fire. Finding a sick riff and finding that synergy sweet-spot between delivering authentic bars alongside breakdowns is a fine art, and we love Native James’ vision.

On the song, Native James shares:  “Hammer is my own rallying cry about who I am and what I’m about… it’s not to say I want everyone to scream along with my lyrics and get behind me and my mission, but rather to be shouting the words along thinking about their own version of what I’m saying — how they relate — their anger, their frustration, their mission, their identity… it’s meant to incite the community’s inner voice and to make it louder to build a community and make the people feel empowered my tribe… the tribe of native.”
