Grammy-nominated Michigan heavyweights I Prevail have officially announced their fourth studio album, Violent Nature, set to drop on 19th September 2025 via Fearless Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have unleashed their latest single “Rain” with a gripping new music video.
Following on from the aggressive intensity of previous single “Violent Nature” and the beautiful melodics of “Into Hell”, “Rain” delivers the best of both worlds with frontman Eric Vanlerberghe once again flexing his singing chops in-between moments of pure heavy riffage and pit started fire.
Vanlerberghe, now the group’s sole lead vocalist, had this to say: “Rain was one of the first songs we wrote for the record. As time went along and more songs started filling up the tracklist, it continued to be one of my favorite songs. Thematically, Rain deals with acceptance of things out of your control and finding clarity.”
Violent Nature marks a new chapter for I Prevail, one that’s darker, deeper, and sonically more intense. Produced entirely by bassist Jon Eberhard, the 10-track album is shaping up to be the catalyst for powerful new era of the band. Check out the full tracklist below.
