Pop, rock & metal in one powerful vision: HRTLSS is back

The topic of vampirism has been touched on throughout the history of alternative music and culture, but within the vision of HRTLSS we see a modern conceptual take on the topic; full of darkness and struggle but also acceptance. Speaking on the project HRTLSS shares, “Hive is the prologue to this three part story, a starting chapter of the characters journey through vampirism and the emotional torment that comes with it. The song takes you through a journey of realising nothing will be the same anymore, you are no longer in control, the darkness within is taking over, and there is nothing you can do about it.”   HRTLSS mixes emotional moments with rich nu metal tinged guitar tones, almost as an alternative heavy music answer to sad girl vibes.

This latest single ‘Hive’ is another slice of his forthcoming EP ‘Blood Moon’, released 31st May: “This body of work is a deep dive into pain, self pity and self destruction, but ultimately, the idea of losing oneself and becoming who they were meant to be. I took inspiration from the dark and grungy aesthetics of vampire movies. This project starts at the end of the story and works its way back through the EP, with each song being a different stage in the coming to terms of the state the character finds themselves in.”
