HOT MILK PERFORM ON KIMMY KIMMEL & RELEASE NEW SINGLE “I FELL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE THAT I SHOULDN’T HAVE”
It’s been a big weekend for the Manchester based pop rock up and comers Hot Milk. Not only did they make their US TV debut Live on the Jimmy Kimmel show but they have just released a brand new single entitled “I Fell In Love With Someone That I Shouldn’t Have” which is taken from their new 6 track EP – “The King and Queen of Gasoline” set to be released on the 5th August! The song has an uptempo pop punk sound with all the catchy sing-along elements you’ve come to expect from a Hot Milk release & lyrically deals with the aftermath of a breakup with a more positive outlook. Speaking on the song, Singer and guitarist Jim Shaw says: “THIS IS NOT A FKIN LOVE SONG…this is revenge. Han started writing this at 16 ‘n we revisited it and made it into a heartbreak anthem that is not about wallowing, it’s about getting your own back. This is a song about reclaiming power from an abusive relationship and coming back twice as strong, maybe overly. They won’t fuck with you again.”
