HERIOT release new single ‘Siege Lord’

One of the UK’s best new heavy bands HERIOT have just dropped their heavy af new single ‘Siege Lord’ via Century Media. To put it together the band assembled a metal dream team in the form of guitar legend and Sylosis main man Josh Middleton and GRAMMY Award winning producer Will Putney (END, Fit For An Autopsy, Better Lovers) on production and mix duties and the end result is just as good as you would expect. Eerie atmospherics set the backdrop for enormous detuned guitar riffs and pummelling drums to burst through the speakers like a giant metallic fist while the visceral tones of vocalists Jake Packer and Debbie Gough add the finishing touches to this unapologetically heavy banger.
Speaking on the song the band comment: “‘Siege Lord’ is a track we feel expands on our previous releases, leaning heavily into the more metallic elements of our sound. It’s a visceral yet atmospheric track. Lyrically, ‘Siege Lord’ contemplates thefragility of soul searching.”
