Harpy Unleashes Debut EP VII & Drops New Video For “Inferno”

The rising alt “goth mommy” Harpy has finally unleashed her long-awaited debut EP, VII, a dark, intoxicating plunge into the depths of human desire. Out across all streaming platforms and available in physical formats now, the release is a haunting, dark and diverse statement from one of the most exciting new voices in the alternative underground.
To celebrate the drop, Harpy has also shared the official music video for “Inferno,” the EP’s smouldering opening track.
Speaking about the track, she explains: “Inferno is the story of push and pull I had with a lover once.” The song ignites the EP with a mix of allure and emotional volatility, setting the tone for the visceral journey that follows.
Built around the mythology of the seven deadly sins, VII unravels over seven tracks, each one a sonic embodiment of Harpy’s own vices: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth. It’s a concept wrapped in grit, glamour, and dangerous temptation.
Harpy describes the record as “my provocative descent into the emotions we’re so often told to deny. It’s a soundtrack for indulgence and defiance – where seduction collides with shame, and rage finally finds its rhythm. It’s cinematic, sensual, and unapologetically human.”
