Harpy Releases New Single “Precious”

Rising nu-goth siren Harpy has dropped her new single “Precious”, a haunting love song that blends elements of industrial gothic alt pop and cinematic soundscapes. Equal parts seductive and destructive, the track is the latest glimpse into Harpy’s debut EP ‘VII’, due out 7th November.

Speaking about the track, Harpy shares: “This song is about my obsession with love — the kind that withers flowers and stops clocks,” says Harpy. “Love is not an easy thing for me… it can be dangerous. To me, it’s more addictive than any drug… and once I taste it, I must consume it all. I don’t know how to hold love gently — I only know how to take until there’s nothing left. It stops being romance, it’s just a hunger. Feeding. Consuming what I crave completely, until it ceases to exist.”

Harpy’s debut EP ‘VII’, is a concept-driven collection themed around the seven deadly sins – Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth. Each track is a confessional chapter in Harpy’s descent into vice, with “Precious” representing Greed, not for riches, but for emotional possession.

Harpy will also play her biggest headline show to date at Oslo, London on Monday 1st December 2025, where she will perform ‘VII’ in its entirety for the first time.

“I’m brimming with anticipation for this show,” Harpy says. “We gave everybody a taste of what we were capable of at the last headline, but I can now reveal the true depths of this record and myself, finally, on stage. I have lots of exciting things planned and I can’t wait for everybody to descend with me into the deep dark corners of ‘VII’.”
