Manchester’s fastest-rising heavy-hitters Guilt Trip are back and heavier than ever. The five-piece have officially announced their third album, ‘Armour of Angels’, due June 5 via Roadrunner Records, and it’s already shaping up to be a landmark release for the band.
Guilt Trip have shared the video for their new single, ‘No Love Lost’, directed by Luigi Sibona. In just 2.5 minutes, the track delivers everything fans love about the band, fast riffs, pit-ready energy, and a matured heaviness that takes shades of the past and thrusts them into a modern landscape.
“‘No Love Lost’ is all the best of Guilt Trip spliced into a fast and unrelenting 2.5 minutes,” the band says. “This is just a taste of things to come as we prepare to unleash our third LP, Armour of Angels. We are immensely proud of this record, combining everything special about Severance with an added swing of heaviness and a more mature writing style. We hope these three years have been worth the wait. Thank you to everyone that has and everyone that continues to support Guilt Trip.”
The album, self-produced by the band, features 12 tracks, including a guest appearance from P.O.D. singer Sonny Sandoval on the track ‘Resurrected’.
