False Reality Announce Debut Album “FADED INTENTIONS” & Drop New Single ‘FROZEN’

London hardcore rising stars False Reality are gearing up to unleash chaos with their debut album, FADED INTENTIONS, out November 14th 2025 via Hassle Records. Blending UKHC grit with NYC hardcore ferocity, thrash intensity, metallic weight, grunge atmosphere, and even shoegaze textures, the record is set to pull influences from all over the heavy spectrum from icons like Madball, Terror, Trapped Under Ice, Metallica, Deftones and Sepultura across its 12 tracks.

The band have also dropped a brand-new cut, ‘FROZEN’, a crushing showcase of their sharpened sound. Loaded with pounding two-step rhythms, head bang inducing riffs, slick leads and venomous vocals the track is thematically a reflection on emotional stasis and the disconnection that follows. Its accompanying visualiser, edited by drummer Louis Dale, captures the group’s explosive live presence on stages at 2000 Trees, Burn It Down, CORE Festival and beyond.

Recorded with producer Steve Sears Jr. (Gallows, TRC), FADED INTENTIONS is a said to be a raw yet ambitious snapshot of a band built on years of hardcore history. Vocalist Rachel Rigby first immersed herself in the London/Essex scene as a teenager, later hosting festivals before forming False Reality as her first band. Alongside bassist Joe Cornwell (metalcore vet and electronic producer), guitarist Dave Connolly (Ironed Out, 50 Caliber, Bun Dem Out) and drummer Louis Dale (Ironed Out, LBU alum), the four-piece have distilled lifetimes of pit experience into one of the UK’s fiercest new acts.

“Our music is a nod and a love poem to every band, genre and local hardcore scene that’s brought us to this point,” says Rigby. Dale adds. “We want to subvert expectations of what a hardcore band should be doing,” he says. With FADED INTENTIONS, “we wanted to come out with something unexpected — and we’re proud of it.”
