End It Release Cover of Maximum Penalty’s “Could You Love Me?”

Baltimore hardcore heavyweights End It are back flexing their melodic muscles on a cover of Maximum Penalty’s 1996 deep-cut “Could You Love Me?”. Breathing new life into the outlier classic, the track fuses Akil Godsey’s soulful vocals with End It’s signature raw, rhythmic hardcore energy.

The accompanying video, directed by Noah Haycock, drops the band into a retro variety show setting that quickly descends into chaos.

The cover is the final preview of their highly anticipated debut full-length, Wrong Side Of Heaven, due out August 29th via Flatspot Records. Recorded at Salad Days Studio with hardcore production legend Brian McTernan (Turnstile, Snapcase, Hot Water Music), the album pulls from classic hardcore, thrash, and soul influences across 15 tracks centered around “Spreading awareness of the change that’s coming to Americans, personal growth, and maintaining the ethics and integrity of hardcore.”
