DEMOB HAPPY share booty-shaking jam “Sweet & Sour America”.

Demob Happy have been playing together for many years, but something has happened in the last year or so that has seen them go from great band to ‘grab your phone and share this with as many mates as possible’ status. Now arguably one of the  best new bands to see in the live scene, this new single is a huge nod to bands like Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood and Them Crooked Vultures. It’s bright, bubbling, booty-shaking and incredibly feel-good. And I challenge you to listen to this 3-minute power pack and not have a cheeky chair-shuffle or a head-bop. Despite only just releasing their album ‘Divine Machines’ the band are already sharing new material.

Speaking about the meaning behind the new single, Demob Happy frontman Matthew Marcantonio says, “America’s a beautiful place, but we’ve seen both sides on the tours we’ve done there, the highs and the lows, and it never fails to strike a chord. This is our ode to the strange dichotomy of America.”. And if you like the sound of this, you’re in luck. The band are just out on tour throughout September 2023; https://www.demob-happy.com/shows/.

“Sweet & Sour America” is out now via Liberator Music.
