De’Lour Release New Single & Video ‘Guarded’

South Wales is well known for developing some awesome alternative bands over the years and you can now put alt metal group De’Lour amongst the new crop of bands to emerge from the valleys. The 5 piece have just dropped their new single ‘Guarded’ and it’s an emotionally charged banger. The song packs a punch musically and thematically with atmospheric sounds filling up the sonic space as they flit between huge detuned riffage and beautifully clean elements all laying the landscape for the powerful vocals to soar atop. Speaking on the themes of the song the band say: “We’ve all been guarded at some point in our lives, especially when the actions of others make you feel manipulated to the point that you hate the way you feel when you’re around them. When you look back on these situations, you see the patterns so clearly, you understand the actions and come to the realisation that you’d been duped into being a person different from your true self.”
