DARK BLOOM release their newest heavy outburst with single “BLUR”
The first release of the year to be fully written and recorded by these Leicester rising stars – “Blur” is yet another bodacious, commanding single from DARK BLOOM. Inspired by a range of modern heroes including Bring Me The Horizon through to Hot Milk, you’ll feel the high energy and rich production you’d expect to hear from these, as well as their own unique flair and full on pizazz. This band have a clear vision and a bright future. As editor Ollie pointed out at Forever Loud HQ, if Don Broco were heavier we’d have some starting point to introduce them to someone who was new to this party. We can only leave the carrot dangling here, but we do want you it’s a little addictive.
Sharing detail on the track: lyrically, “Blur” delves into societal perceptions and how they are influenced by the insatiable urge to gossip and the devastating consequences of the allure of a captivating narrative. Throughout the song, the track navigates between the delicate falsetto verses, which express the unbridled desire for forbidden knowledge, and the enlightened soaring choruses, which beg for skepticism towards social rumours. And this marries up with the outpouring vocally of melodic through gutteral outburst in performance style.
Bringing the swagger with the heavy – Leicester’s finest new heavy blood Dark Bloom’s third single of the year is here:
