Creeper release video for ‘Lovers Led Astray’

It may only be March but for UK gothic punks CREEPER it is halloween all year round and they have added to their ever growing iconic visuals and narrative from their critically acclaimed 2023 album ‘SANGUIVORE’ with the release of the music video for single ‘Lovers Led Astray’. The song is an 80s inspired hard rock anthem with nods to the likes of Alice Cooper and The Dammed while still keeping those John Steinman-esque musical theatrics all through a modern Creeper lens. The accompanying music video is right on the money too, shot in 4:3 black and white grain the band are vampired up to the max with plenty of make up, fake blood and leather to compliment the striking imagery.

Speaking on the video frontman William Von Ghould says, “We made the video for Lovers Led Astray with one of our favourite visual artists, Harry Steel. The video explores the themes of the song while experimenting with light and shadow. It is an unholy communion of light and dark which threads together the themes of the existing Sanguivore universe while presenting something new and provocative at the same time.”
