Creeper Launch New 80s Styled Era With Album Announcement, Single and Performances at HMAs & Slam Dunk

The UK’s finest purveyors of gothic theatrics CREEPER are back with a bang following the announcement of a brand new album, single and headline tour as well as a successful return to the live arena this past weekend. After taking some time off after the bands 2020 ‘Sex, Death & the Infinite Void’ album cycle, Creeper returned last week with their brand new single ‘Cry To Heaven’ which introduced fans to a new 80s influenced gothic sound and visuals along with the announcement of their new album ‘SANGUIVORE’ set to be released on Friday, October 13th fittingly. The band wasted no time bringing the new era to masses as they opened up their set at last Friday’s Heavy Music Awards with the new single, complete with a host of vampire-esque backing dancers and plenty of on stage theatrics to boot. Two huge headline performances at Slam Dunk festival followed and proved that Creeper are well and truly back and still one of the country’s most exciting live acts.

Speaking on the new single and era vocalist William Von Ghould says, “Keeping in line with the band’s ethos of aggressive musical progression, the song is once again an ambitious departure from previous works. ‘Cry To Heaven’ turns the key and unlocks a door to a new world of decadent excess. The introduction to a new tragic story of love, loss and vampires. This is Creeper at their most outrageous, harking back to a time where Jim Steinman ruled the airwaves in leather gloves and Aviators.”
