Comastatic Sign to Hopeless Records and Drop Single ‘Self-Sabotage’

Zurich-based alternative rock duo Comastatic have announced their signing to Hopeless Records, a major milestone in their rapidly ascending career. Alongside this news, the band has released their debut single on the label, Self-Sabotage, a high-energy anthem that seamlessly traverses multiple genres and influences into one polished package. The song was produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly) and features guest vocals from Australian pop-punkers Down and Out.

Speaking about the signing, vocalist Mattia Di Paolo shares:

“We’re beyond excited to announce that we’ve signed with Los Angeles-based record label, Hopeless Records! The bands on the Hopeless Records roster have shaped us as musicians and as people, and we’re stoked to start this new chapter with such an amazing team!”

Self-Sabotage dives deep into the tension between outward success and internal struggles. Di Paolo elaborates:

“The song breaks down the paradox of having an ideal life but feeling constantly unsettled by an underlying mental struggle. It talks about the harmful choices that come from this inner battle and the career that makes things more complicated.”
