FOREVER LOUD gives you the full run down of COLLISION FEST 2024.
Collision Day Fest is a shining star in the UK small festival scene. Curated from the team behind CastleFest in Luton, this day fest / event is held at the incredible indie venue Bedford Esquires, which is becoming a special stop for many artists on their tours around the UK for a smaller, intimate show. So much heritage connected to the local area and acts from Biffy Clyro to Muse (twice they add), The Libertines, Don Broco and Royal Blood.
For April 2024 the team welcome a brilliant mix of heavy and alternative artists to the stage for those curious about tomorrow’s UK-headliners and Forever Loud is proudly partnering with them as the official media partner. MARSHALL STAGE
Two very hot names in the world of UK heavy music lead the Marshall Stage. Headliners Calva Louise are a truly global band, representing 3 different countries (none of which are the UK) and bringing a discography of supercharged rock tunes to savage metal-infused anthems. Before heading out to the USA on tour with Vukovi, it’s a chance to see them in an intimate venue before it’s a time gone past.
unpeople are an incredible phoenix rising from the ashes of acts such as Press To Meco and are heading into their debut EP release with the strongest set of singles from a new band we’ve heard in some time. If you like something to sing along to in the choruses but would like the option to melt your face in breakdowns and riffs, then this is the band for you.
Folk Horror group FORLORN will be bringing the theatrics and a style that mixes cinematic soundscapes and haunting melodies with heavy symphonic black metal inspired music
SHOOT TO KILL will be making a return to the Collision stage and they’re bringing the riffs with them. Expect unrelenting aggression, headbanging grooves and guitars tuned to drop Z.
Back at Collision for the second time FEELSHAME will be delivering their brand of metalcore to the Bedford crowd. Expect huge riffs, soaring melodies and ground shaking breakdowns.
DEPOLARIZE will be demonstrating their technical metal prowess with a set full of intricate riffs, fast drum grooves and slick melodies.
AWAY WITH THE SEAS is a progressive metalcore band from Reading that brings a really elegant mix of narratives rooted in mental health and self-discovery with their music.
BIND. are swinging through from East Anglia with their own brand of metallic metalcore. Elements of hardcore, fierce metalcore and rad breakdowns are just what the doctor ordered.
SWARMED are returning to Collision for the second time with their technical metal sound full of powerful riffs, pummelling drums and plenty of pit starting breakdowns.
NATAL STAGE
Leading the way for modern rave punk,CODY FROST is headlning the Natal stage with their own eclectic, infectious mix of heavy and alternative genres. You’ve never heard someone sing their heart out and give a heartfelt curdle in the same set as you do Cody. As much a visual show as a great delve into the music this is a great way to cap off the night for our second stage.
Suffolk-via-Essex 4 piece TROPIC GOLD have taken the alternative world by storm over the past year. Signing to Australian based label UNFD and releasing their EP ‘What A Wonderful Experience’, the band deliver the perfect blend of heaviness with pop sensibilities. There’s heavy riffs, slick drum grooves, sing-a-long moments and a huge amount of emotion and energy packed into every song.
DEADWAX; if you thought metal, rock and grime couldn’t work together, think again. Rising stars from the Yorkshire alternative scene, this band are bringing rap rock to the table 2024 style.
If melodic hardcore if your thing FORECAST will be one to get to the front for. After unforeseen circumstances forcing the band to cancel their UK tour at the start of the year, we’re stoked to have our chance to see them play in the South East so soon after.
If you like your heavy punk with a touch of sass, then DEAD SLOW from Birmingham are insanely good. In the hole Every Time I Die Left in many of our hearts, we’ve got something to jump headfirst into with this incredible band who emplore us to ‘shut up and headbang’.
Ahead of their shows with North Atlas, we get to see WHILST WE EXPLODE play first. Hailing from London and playing one of their earlier career shows especially at Collision Day Fest 2024.
Midlands band RECKONER have a reputation for being one of the sickest live bands around and we’re looking forward to being a part of the carnage. Post-hardcore and riffs galore, this band have already been played on the biggest radio stations in the UK and sold out their own headline shows. Get involved!
Metal 4 piece KODAMA will be bringing their arsenal of tracks packed with enough mosh pit inducing moments and huge riffs to make any metalhead raise their horns to the sky
