CALL ME AMOUR share new single “GOOD DAY” feat. Mikey Chapman

Building up to a self-titled EP release, British band CALL ME AMOUR share their latest single “Good Day” featuring Mikey Chapman (of Mallory Knox). We’ve had our eye on the band since their first offering – “Bloom” featuring Scott Kennedy from Bleed From Within – made it onto the office stereo earlier this year. We like the way this band are writing music, we’re stoked with the collaborations and it’s holding it’s own against the American rockers and Aussie metalcore scene that are truly rearing their head in the international space. The build into chorus leaves you wondering if you’ve just heard one of the anthems of the year, whilst firing off of those neurons that used to imagine and dream and be built of aspiration, positive vibes. Something the band themselves admint to pulling (in spirit at least) into their construction. Speaking about the track, guitarist Geoff Murphy shares: ‘Good Day’ highlights the importance of trust, friendship and surrounding yourself with positivity and good friends. Sometimes, in a world full of distractions, the best thing you can do is filter out the noise, cut loose the negativity and hold tight the ones that are in your corner. Keep your circle close.”
Some collaborations are interesting on paper, may even leave you wowed, but few are as complimentary than frontman Harry Radford and featured vocalist Mikey Chapman on this track. Both in rally back and forth throughout verse and chorus and harmonising at key points, it’s a perfect match, showcasing the talent within the British music scene today. And who knows…given the two bands are touring together immimnently (see poster below), you might get to hear this performed live.
