Bury Tomorrow Announce New Album “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”

UK metalcore heavyweights Bury Tomorrow have unveiled their upcoming album, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, set for release on May 16th 2025. This new chapter follows a transformative two years for the band, marked by lineup changes, the pandemic’s impact, and the release of their acclaimed 2023 album, The Seventh Sun. The arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast reignited the band’s creativity, culminating in what is described as their “most fantastically visceral offering to date.”
Produced by Carl Bown (Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps), the album promises a deeply personal and expansive sound, born from introspection and raw emotion. According to the band, the record delves into themes of self-sabotage, anxiety, and the quest for peace in a chaotic world.
“It is a record about division as much as togetherness… an outpouring of personal devastation but a hopeful reminder that we are all navigating it together.”
The album’s first single, “What If I Burn,” encapsulates the band’s evolved sound and vision. Guitarist Kristan Dawson elaborates on its themes: “To haunt is to revisit or recur persistently to the consciousness of someone or something. There’s beauty in that commitment somewhat. In a world full of distraction, discourse, instancy and demand, patience seems hard to attain. In patience there is peace, one thing society is short of. The title serves as a call of reflection, relying on the present moment, remembering what truly matters.”

The album artwork and accompanying music video were created by Zak Pinchin, who drew inspiration from the themes of grief and connection. “Upon reading the album title, I envisioned a character laying a lost loved one down in a house they once shared,” says Pinchin. “A place where they can haunt or exist to help him cope with his grief and loss; A place he can keep them and return to. I wanted to figuratively capture that idea as a moment in time, frozen in numb stillness, revisiting a memory once laid to rest.”
