Broadside release new album “Nowhere, At Last”  & drop emotional new single ‘Dead Roses’

Richmond, Virginia pop-rock band Broadside have officially released their new album Nowhere, At Last via Thriller Records, marking one of their most introspective and emotionally driven projects to date. Alongside the album drop, the band have shared a final preview in the form of their latest single ‘Dead Roses’, which arrives with a deeply reflective music video now available to watch.

The record sees Broadside shifting inward, exploring themes of uncertainty, identity, and acceptance rather than resolution. Frontman Oliver Baxxter describes the album’s core idea as sitting within that in-between space of searching and surrender.

“Life is a series of blind steps, each one seeking salvation. But to be nowhere–to need nowhere to be at all–is true bliss,” he explains.

Speaking specifically about ‘Dead Roses’, Baxxter adds a raw emotional layer to the track’s meaning: “After the rage, eyes drowning and cheeks stained with tears, you find yourself in that same old conversation. Am I worthy of this life? Can I swim through the monotony? The other voice is already there–the familiar one, persistent, sounds like his, or hers. It tells you to stay still. Lie down. For the over thinker, the executioner is the stranger in the mirror.”

The band have also released the official music video for ‘Dead Roses’, which you can watch below:

Broadside have also confirmed a trio of UK headline shows for May 2026. The band will kick things off in Manchester before heading to Birmingham and wrapping up in London:

  • 26 May – Manchester – Rebellion
  • 27 May – Birmingham – Asylum
  • 28 May – London – The Underworld

These dates follow their appearance at Slam Dunk Festival on 23–24 May in Hatfield and Leeds, placing them right in the middle of a packed European and UK touring schedule.

Broadside’s wider run of dates includes North American shows with The Maine, Nightly, and Grayscale, followed by a co-headline European tour with Hands Like Houses, plus various festival appearances across May.
