The long awaited new album from Bring Me The Horizon is finally here! After the initial September 2023 release date got pushed back, it was expected to drop some time this summer but in a surprise and somewhat genius move the band announced the release just the day before to the excitement of fans around the world.
The album is 16 tracks filled with some of the groups most eclectic and experimental work to date. From the hyper pop infused emo bangers of ‘LosT’, ‘Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd bloOd’, ‘DiE4u’ and ‘R.i.p. (duskCOre Remix)’ and heavier tracks of ‘Kool-Aid’, ‘AmEN!’ and ‘liMOusIne’ to the post hardcore/screamo sounds of ‘a bulleT w/ my namE On ft Underoath’ and ‘YOUtopia’ not to mention all the huge singles, immersive interludes and chaotic electronic elements laced throughout, it’s an album that deserves a good few listens to properly digest.
It goes to show that even at this stage in their career Bring Me The Horizon have no intent on resting on their laurels or playing it safe. They continue to the push the boundaries of genre in their music to create something that is a steps ahead of anyone on the scene.
